Webster Henry J. Marcinczyk, Jr.,59, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He leaves his children: Matthew J. Marcinczyk of North Grosvenordale, CT., and Jessica V. Ward of Leicester, his parents; Henry J. ‘Hank’ and Jeanne (Lebouef) Marcinczyk, Sr. of Webster, a sister, Chris Marcinczyk of Quinebaug, CT., 4 grandchildren; Amber, Brittany, Jacob and Paige. He was born in Webster and lived here most of his life. Henry served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era and later worked at the former Webster Spring Company in Oxford. He was a member of the American Legion Post 184 , was a Harley enthusiast and also enjoyed working on Hot Rods. He will be missed by his family and many close friends. There are No Calling Hours. WEBSTER – Beatrice C. (Ford) Budrow, 79, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 46 years, Rodney L. “Sonny” Budrow, died in 2005. She leaves a son, Rodney L. Budrow, Jr. and his wife LuAnn of Dudley; a daughter, Darlene A. Siegmund and her husband Paul of Webster; a stepdaughter, Lucinda Carlisle of Missouri; a grandson, Jeffrey Saad and his wife Jill of Thompson, CT; a brother, Roger Ford of Southbridge; 8 sisters, Ida Czezewski and Dorothy Theodores, both of Southbridge, Rita Renaud and Ruth Ferrer, both of Charlton, Leona Cournoyer of Ware, Lorraine Pelletier and Doris Ford, both of Florida, and Shirley Simpson of Detroit; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William, Russell and Donald Ford, and by 2 sisters, Mildred Stanhope and Terry Lamoureux. She was born and raised in Southbridge, the youngest of the 15 children of Wilbur and Rose (Girard) Ford. She moved here in 1958. Mrs. Budrow was a presser and welder at Webster Spring Company in Oxford for many years before she retired. She was a communicant of Saint Louis Church and a member of the St. Louis League of Catholic Women. She enjoyed going to the casino with her friends. She took great pleasure in doing favors for and helping her family and friends. The funeral will be held Thursday, July 10, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to St. Louis School Endowment Fund, 15 Lake St., Webster, MA 01570.

WEBSTER – Victoria A. (Kunigonis) Duby-Auger, 89, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her first husband, Edmund L. Duby, died in 1981. Her second husband of 22 years, Normand Auger, died in 2008. She leaves a sister, Julia Zalansky of Dover, NH; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alphonse Kunigonis, and by 2 sisters, Pauline Garbis and Wanda Dobrovolsky. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Peter and Julia (Pajunis) Kunigonis. She lived in Shrewsbury for over 20 years before moving here in 1996. Victoria was the manager of a beauty shop before she retired. She was a member of St. Louis Church. Funeral services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. Webster Gail F. (Hofford) Walkowiak, 76, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Lanessa Extended Care. She leaves her husband of 50 years, Thomas E. Walkowiak, 2 sons; Gregory T. Walkowiak and his partner Cheryl Trudeau of Webster and Paul Layfulde of Dudley, several grandchildren, brothers and sisters; John Hofford of Colorado, James Hofford of Michigan, Wayne Hofford of Worcester, Nancy Paquin of Auburn, Alan Hofford of Michigan also half brothers and sisters; Jeff, Virgil, Tony and Michael, Theresa and Kathy all of Minnesota and many nieces and nephews including Robin L. Blanchard and her husband Butch of Worcester. Gail was born in Worcester, daughter of George and Jeanette (Doucette) Hofford, Sr. and has lived in Webster many years. She was predeceased by a brother, George Hofford, Jr. and a sister, Mary St. Onge. Gail worked for many years at the former General Motors Company in Framingham and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. Webster Inge E. (Stier) Lilla, 82, passed away, Wednesday July 9, 2014 in her home after a prolonged illness. Inge was born February 9, 1932 in Offenbach, Germany, daughter of the late Karl and Elisabeth (Heck) Stier. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Lilla, they were married for almost 62 years, their four children; Clifford of Webster; Susan Montville and her husband Robert of Dudley, Michael and his wife Frances of Hollidaysburg, PA., and Jeffrey and his wife Ann of Webster, she also raised her grandchild, Jamie Lilla and was also a devoted grandmother to Renee Carlson, Brian and Steven Montville, Erik and Kristen Lilla and great grandmother to Maggie Montville, Corinne Carlson, Katie, Juliette, Samantha and Charlie Lilla. She was involved in the St. Joseph’s Polish Women’s Club for many years and was a former President. She operated her own day care center for many years and loved the children as if they were her own, forming a special bond with some of these children until the day of her passing. WEBSTER – Adele A. (Langlois) Cole, 79, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 after a period of declining health. She leaves her husband of 35 years, Guy M. Cole; 3 children, Julie L. Sterczala and her fiance Robert E. Lee, Lorene M. Gouin and her husband James, and Glenn A. Bacon, Jr., all of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Kelly L. Barnaby and her husband Rich, Stephen L. Sterczala and his wife Katie, and Jenna E. Gouin; 2 great-grandchildren, Abby and Richie Barnaby; 2 sisters, Gloria Hickey in California and Lucille Miller of Killingly, CT; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and 3 brothers. She also leaves her Golden Retriever Toby. She was born in Woodstock and raised in Putnam, a daughter of Theodore and Lucy (Lafountain) Langlois and moved to Webster in 1953. Mrs. Cole worked at Stevens Linen. She was a communicant of St. Louis Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to Hampton Beach and to Disneyworld and was a Red Sox fan. The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 30, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. A calling hour will be from 9:15 to 10:15 AM Wednesday in the funeral home.

WEBSTER – Heather Forrester-Hall, 43, died Monday , July 28, 2014 in UMass/Memorial Healthcare surrounded by her family after a short illness. She leaves her husband of 23 years, Michael S. Hall; a son, Camden Z. Hall; her mother, Deborah A. (Benoit) Moran, all of Webster; her father and stepmother, Barry R. Forrester, Sr. and his wife Kathy (Shocket) Forrester of Charlton; 3 siblings, Brandon Forrester of Florida, and Crystal Forrester and Barry Forrester, Jr., both of Charlton; his maternal grandmother, Jennie (Ondrasek) Benoit of Webster; a nephew, Nathan Forrester of Webster; a niece, Gianna Forrester of Florida; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She also leaves her dog Elliot. Her stepfather, Michael J. Moran, died in 2013. She was born in Webster and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1989 where she was a majorette in the high school band. Mrs. Forrester-Hall was currently working in customer service at MAPFRE Commerce Insurance Company. She enjoyed scrap booking. Her life was dedicated to her family and friends. She was affectionately known as “Miss Fun Heatha.” Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 31, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. UXBRIDGE/WEBSTER – Robert S. Miller, 81, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in St. Camillus Health Center, Whitinsville, after a short illness. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Mary E. (Drake) Miller; 3 children, Jeffrey A. Miller of Charlton, Kim T. Departie and her husband Robert of Uxbridge, and Wayne W. Miller and his wife Kerri of Webster; and 8 grandchildren, Adam and Nicole Miller, Maxwell and Alexandra Wojnowski, Madison Departie, and Brody, Owen and Jaysi Miller. He also leaves his Australian sheep dog Casey. He was preceded in death by his brother Lawrence. He was born in Worcester on May 20, 1933, a son of Stanley and Mary (Szacik) Miller and lived in Webster for 70 years before moving to Uxbridge when he retired. He graduated from Webster Boys Trade School and then earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Nichols College in Dudley in 1961. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Miller was a purchasing agent for shoe companies, including Sandlerette Footwear Company in Webster. He then was a supervisor at General Spring & Wire in Oxford for about 20 years. He worked as a machine operator at Gentex Optics in Dudley for 10 years, retiring in 2003. He had been a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley. He was an avid golfer. He loved his wife and children, and especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted father, “that unique and really important person in your life, who has been there from the beginning.” Services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. She leaves 2 sons, John J. Dziedzic and his wife Rosalie of Dudley and their children Sara Dziedzic of Woodstock, CT and Stephen Dziedzic and his wife Amy and their 2 daughters Emily and Abigail, all of Jacksonville, NC, and George P. Dziedzic and his wife Lanna and their sons Scott Dziedzic and Timothy Dziedzic and his wife Catherine Phillips, all of Webster; a sister, Nellie Galonek of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was born in Webster, one of the ten children of John and Julia (Ziemba) Plotczyk and lived here all her life. Mrs. Dziedzic was a launderer at Hubbard Regional Hospital for many years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. WEBSTER – James J. Manzi, 92, of Webster, passed away after a period of declining health on Friday, August 8, 2014. Mr. Manzi is survived by his wife of 62 years Theresa (Zlotnick) Manzi. He leaves a son, Anthony J. Manzi and his wife Elizabeth, of Webster; a daughter, Carla Manzi and her husband James P. Mason, of Webster; four grandchildren, Jill (Ostrokolowicz) Katsiroubas and her husband Theodore, of Newton; Maria (Ostrokolowicz) Beaudette and her husband Michael, of Webster; James Manzi and Alicia Manzi, both of Webster; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Tessa and Noah. He was looking forward to the birth of his fourth great-grandchild, Mia. He also leaves two sisters, Emily (Manzi) Desaulniers of Framingham and Dolores Manzi, of Newton. He was the youngest boy of the family, predeceased by nine brothers Francis, Joseph, Michael, Albert, Frederick, George, Edward, John, and Henry; six sisters, Carolyn O’Connell, Margaret Beresik, Edith, Rose Foley, Julia, and Lois. He was born in Webster, the son of Antonio and Benvenuta (Borrasi) Manzi. Jim was a lifelong resident of Webster and a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II stationed on the island of Tinian in the South Pacific. He was a memorabilia collector known for his pictures and items of historical interest of his beloved hometown. He also co-authored the book “Images of America – Webster” in 2005. Jim worked for many years in the family store, Manzi’s Market on the corner of Main and School streets, then as a meat cutter at Park ‘n Shop and Mostly Meat in Webster. He was loved and fondly remembered by the many people he worked with and also his friends at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street. The family would like to express appreciation to Harrington Hospital, Webster Manor and Hubbard TCU for their kind care over the past two years. Dad loved his family, food, Frank and Dean and the Yankees. The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 12, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. WEBSTER – Michael D. MacDonald, 58, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 25 years, Patricia A. (Sullivan) MacDonald; a daughter, Amanda R. Sullivan and her husband Robert J. Sullivan of Chelmsford; a son, Peter J. MacDonald and his fiancée Kerisa Martel of Charlton; a grandson, Theodore J. “Teddy” Sullivan; a step-daughter, Joan D. Pepin of California; 3 siblings, Virginia Guimond and her husband Stephen of Marston Mills, Robert E. MacDonald, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Warwick, RI, and Mary Anne MacDonald of Whitinsville; nephews and nieces. He was born and raised in Attleboro, a son of Robert E. MacDonald, Sr. and Virginia M. (Bellavance) MacDonald. He graduated from Attleboro High School and earned his Bachelor of Accounting Degree from UMass Dartmouth. He lived in Whitinsville for 15 years before moving to Webster in 2004. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, proudly serving as a sergeant. He was a member of the Oxford American Legion Post #58. Mr. MacDonald first worked as an accountant. He was then a systems analyst for the Mass Medical Society in Waltham. He taught computer software classes at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He was a programmer at Artifex in Lincoln, RI, retiring due to illness in 2006. He was considered an expert in computers and authored and edited 13 books in computer programming. He also wrote over 60 magazine articles. He served on the executive Board of the EFFORTS Society. He enjoyed fishing and kayaking on Webster Lake. He was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan. Talented on the keyboard, he volunteered playing at Christopher Heights during the holidays. His favorite activity was spending time with his grandson. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, August 30, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, with military honors. Calling hours will be from 8:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday, August 30, in the funeral home. Nick was born in Worcester and raised in Webster and was a graduate of Bartlett High School, he worked as a cabinet maker at Dyer’s Display in South Grafton. He was a member of St. Louis Church, enjoyed fishing and hunting and his dog Jada. The Most Important people were his daughters Rylee and Kaycee, they were his Life and he enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them, whether he would take them fishing or flea markets or just having fun. WEBSTER – Richard S. “Gemarco” Theodore, 87, died Friday, August 29, 2014 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Claire E. (Landry) Theodore; a son, Donald E. Theodore of Webster; a daughter, Christine A. Brown-Aldridge and her husband Roy Johnson Aldridge of Winston-Salem, NC; 3 granddaughters, Danielle R. Burgess, Emilee N. Burgess and Jolene M. Hebert; a nephew and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers Erwin and Bernard. He was born on May 8, 1927 in Webster, son of John and Michalena (Wasielewski) Theodore and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1944. Mr. Theodore worked for 40 years at Bentley Shoe, retiring as a foreman when the shop closed. He then worked for 15 years at Bartlett High School, retiring as head custodian in 2004. He served on the Webster Board of Health for many years. He was also a member of the building Committee for the new Webster Middle School. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was a sports fan and rarely missed a Bartlett game. He also enjoyed watching game shows on TV. Funeral services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. Douglas/Webster Deborah A. (Lewandowski) LaPorte, 63 of Douglas passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at her home in Webster. She is survived by her aunt Charlotte of Cumberland, R.I., her dear and loving friends; Sam, Tracey, Wanda, Mo, Richie, Jr., and Joyce, all from South Carolina, Mary of Worcester, Steve of Douglas, and her beloved Vinny along with numerous cousins. Debbie was born in Woonsocket, R.I. to the late Frank and Ann (Spatula) Lewandowski. She graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster, she then went on to college obtaining degrees in Nursing and specializing in the Mental Health Field. Deborah moved to South Carolina in the late 1980’s and worked at Broughton Hospital, becoming an advocate for the CLC Group Home for the assisted living. Her inspiration and endless support there included television appearances fighting for CLC to continue rightful care to individuals whom she so passionately loved. Her staff recalls classes she taught and her humor when occasions would arise. Upon Debbie’s return to MA. she served as Head Nurse in the Psychiatric Dept. of the Worcester State Hospital for 20 years, devoting her passion until retirement. Deborah enjoyed Polish Music and dancing at Polish picnics. She loved to read novels and enjoyed the times she had gone on cruises and trips to Acapulco. WEBSTER – Elsa R. (Cort) Milus, 76, died Friday, August 29, 2014 in her home with her children at her side. She leaves 2 daughters, Diane M. Dean of Webster and Brenda E. Kilcoyne and her husband Michael of Clinton; 5 grandchildren, Katie Farmer, Kerri Whitney, Melissa Goodwin, Nicole and Eric Dean; 6 great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Cody, Kyle, Paul, Brayden and Julian; her step-mother, Lois Cort of Worcester; 2 sisters, Marcia Eames and Brenda Eames, both of Thompson, CT; 2 half-brothers, James and Robert Cort, both of Worcester; nieces and nephews. She was born on September 11, 1937 in Worcester, the oldest child of Chester and Irene (Sanborn) Cort. She was raised in Worcester and Leicester and graduated from Leicester High School. She then moved back to Worcester when she married and resided in Oxford before moving to Webster in 2000. Elsa was a dietician at the former Doctors’ Hospital in Worcester. Then she was a personal care attendant at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster before she retired in 2003. She was a past matron of the Stella Chapter #103, Order of the Eastern Star in Worcester. She was an ardent fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She also loved watching college football games. She enjoyed reading. She will be remembered for her love of family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, at 11:00 AM in Zion Lutheran Church, 70 South Main St., Oxford. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to Central Mass. Hospice, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, MA 01501. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.

WEBSTER – Emily P. (Langer) Racicot, 96, died Sunday in Berkshire Nursing Center, Providence after a period of declining health. She leaves a son, John Homer Racicot; a daughter, Barbara E. Menoche of Providence, RI; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Rudolph, John, Jerry and Frank Langer and by 2 sisters, Mary Gursky and Agnes D’Angelo. She was born in Webster, daughter of Rudolph and Mary (Mach) Langer and lived here most of her life. She moved to Providence 5 years ago. Mrs. Racicot was employed at Webster Shoe for 9 years and then as a final inspector at Webster Lens Company. She retired in 1977. She was a member of St. Joseph Basilica. She was a former member of the St. Anthony’s Women’s Club and the Webster Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bingo. She liked to buy cookies to feed children in the neighborhood. The funeral will be held Thursday, September 11, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the funeral home. Webster Ernest A. Gabor, 80, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 in his home. He leaves behind a daughter, Lori J. wife of Aaron A. Suss of Webster, a brother, Alex Gabor and his wife Daisy of Oak Harbor, WA., and a sister, Irene wife of Chester Starzec of Webster, 2 sisters-in-law; Anna and Shirley Gabor and many nieces and nephews. Ernie was predeceased by 4 brothers; Louis, Frank, Stephen and Carl Gabor and 2 sisters; Mary Krol and Rose Bounds. He was born in Dudley, son of Frank and Hermina (Susienka) Gabor, Sr. and lived in Webster and Dudley most of his life. Ernie was a Korean War Veteran and served in the U. S. Air Force. He then worked for the former Boston Gas Co. for 32 years and retired in 1994. He was a Lifetime member of the T.S.K.K. Club and the American Legion Post #184. Ernie enjoyed the times spent with family and friends, especially at the Hayden Pond Family Camp. He was a passionate sports fan, including the Red Sox and Patriots. Calling Hours for Ernie will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 9AM to 10:30 AM at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster. WEBSTER – Sophie M. (Jezerski) Stolarczyk, 93, died Sunday, September 7, 2014 in Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center with family at her side. Her husband of 40 years, Vincent T. “Timmy” Stolarczyk, died in 1993. She leaves 2 brothers, Stanley Jezierski and his wife Theresa of North Grosvenordale, CT and Anthony Jezerski and his wife Marilyn of Webster; 2 sisters, Stella Mroczek of Webster and Helen Jerominek of Shelburne; nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Alexander, Edward, John and Frank Jezerski and by 2 sisters, Wanda Bonczek and Esther Rulli. She was born in Dudley and raised in North Grosvenordale, the daughter of Stanley and Catherine (Szuleski) Jezerski. She moved to Webster when she married in 1952. She was a stitcher at Waterhouse Company in Dudley and then a winder and sealer at Cranston Prints Works Company, retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Basilica and prayed the rosary daily. Sophie loved all kinds of music: classical, swing, Polka and piano. She watched “General Hospital” at 3:00 PM almost every day. She liked eating out and spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews. She had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh. The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 12, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 8:30 to 9:45 AM Friday in the funeral home.
