WEBSTER – Cynthia E. (Polomski) Bellerive, 63, of Webster died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Neuro Rehab in Worcester with her family at her side. She leaves her husband of 39 years, Herb L. Bellerive; her daughter, Stefanie M. Bellerive of Webster; a sister, Carolyn J. Warbek and her husband Dr. Alan Warbeck of Avon, CT; an aunt, Evelyn Baldyga of Southbridge; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Theresa S. (Scheffler) Grydzinski Polomski in 2009. She was born in Webster, the daughter of Joseph S. and Wanda S. (Napierkowski) Polomski and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School and earned a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Maine Portland-Gorham. She later completed a Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education from Worcester State College. Mrs. Bellerive was a first grade teacher for 33 years at Park Avenue Elementary School, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Saint Louis Church. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Neuro Rehab of Worcester for their exceptional and compassionate care of Cynthia since last July. The funeral will be held Wednesday, February 26, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, in the funeral home. WEBSTER – Jeannette C. (Beaudoin) St.Onge, 63, formerly of Nelson Street, died Friday, February 21, 2014 in St. Camillus Health Center, Northbridge after a period of declining health. She leaves 2 daughters, April Lee Nicolan and Cindy Lee Nicolan, both of Fall River; a grandson, Nicholas Custidio; a brother, Raymond Beaudoin; a sister, Theresa Hamel; nieces and nephews, including Brenda Bedard of Northbridge. She was born and raised in Fall River, the youngest child of Leo and Marion (Belanger) Beaudoin. She lived in Webster from 1998 to 2012, when she moved to Northbridge. She worked as a security guard at Pinkerton Security in Plattsburg, NY and then as a nurse’s aide in Burlington, VT, retiring in 1997 because of illness. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God. Services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.

WEBSTER – Dorothy (Cusson) Para , 86, died Monday, March 3, 2014 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her husband of 62 years, Frank Para, died in 2007. She leaves a daughter, Denise A. Burgess of Webster; 2 grandchildren, Kim Wigglesworth and her husband Scott of North Grosvenordale, CT and Michelle Jodrey and her husband Chris of Killingly, CT; a great-granddaughter, Cassidy Jodrey; 2 sisters, Irene Greenwood and Lorraine White, both of Webster; nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Marilyn Kaye of Webster. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian Para, and by her 3 brothers, Arthur, Jr., Robert and Richard Cusson. She was born in Webster, a daughter of Arthur Cusson, Sr. and Anna (Lavallee) Cusson and lived here all her life. Mrs. Para worked as a spooler at Anglo Fabrics Company for over 30 years before she retired in 1982. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was a former member of the Silver Dippers. She loved to dance and play the organ and drums. The funeral will be held Friday, March 7, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Friday, March 7, in the funeral home. Dudley Maria Urania (Faria) Moniz, 91, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Overlook Healthcare in Charlton. She was the wife of the late Manuel Moniz who died in 1959. Maria leaves behind a son, John M. Moniz and his wife Odete of Dudley, 2 grandchildren and their spouses, 4 great grandchildren, a brother; Firmo Faria of Taunton, and a sister; Adrianna Piques of Portugal. She was born in Sao Miguel Acores, Portugal, a daughter of Manuel and Maria Gloria (Goveia) Faria and came to the United States in 1974. Maria was a homemaker , but also assisted her family at their business and was known as the ‘Muffin Lady”. Calling hours for Maria will be Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5PM to 9PM at the ROBERT J. WEBSTER – Frank R. “Sleepy” Kaliszewski, 88, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. He leaves his wife of 36 years, Gloria L. (Bourassa) Kaliszewski; 3 stepchildren, Susan M. Desrosiers and her husband John of North Oxford, Robert L. Anderson and his wife Linda of Oxford, and Diane L. Sonos and her husband Charles of Thompson, CT; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandsons; 2 brothers, Robert Kaliszewski of North Grosvenordale, CT and David Kaliszewski of Sturbridge; a sister, Esther Cassettari of Florida; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leo, Richard and Edward Kaliszewski and by a sister, Leona Walker. He was born February 12, 1926 in Dudley, a son of Frank J. and Donalda (Lucier) Kaliszewski and lived in Webster most of his life. He attended Bartlett High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the PAV. Mr. Kaliszewski worked at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster, first as a machine operator for 10 years and then as a security guard on weekends for 20 years, retiring in 2008. Previously, he had worked at Middlesex Casket Company. He was a lifelong member of Saint Louis Church. He enjoyed walking, fishing, golfing, bowling and attending car races at Thompson Speedway. The funeral will be held Saturday, March 1, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will provide the military honors at the cemetery. Charlton Ernest W. “Mush” Morgan, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in his home. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Corinne M. (Miller) Morgan, 4 children; Dennis W. Morgan and his wife Jamie of South Carolina, James D. Morgan of Atlanta, GA., Doreen E. Nergararian and her husband Carl of Shrewsbury, and Melissa R. Smith and her husband Bruce of Jefferson, 6 grandchildren; Michael, Paul, Julie, Eric, Dylin and Andrew, a sister, Pauline Dziembowski of Webster, 2 brothers; Gerard Morgan of Ft. Lauderdale, FLA., and Edmund Morgan of Webster, several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a Special Friend, George Slingo of Dudley He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard Morgan. Ernie was born in Dudley, son of Gerard A. and Marie Rose (Bazinet) Morgan and has lived in Charlton over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and then served 12 years in the U. S. Air Force as a Staff Sgt. during the Korean War era. He and Corinne celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this past February 12th. After retiring from the Air Force he owned and operated Morgan’s Garage in Webster for 15 years and specialized in Volkswagen repairs, after that he worked at the former Cranston Print works Co. for several years. Mush enjoyed playing horseshoes , fishing, waterskiing, loved to work in his yard, was a jack of all trades and enjoyed tinkering around and fixing things, most of all, Ernie loved and adored his grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them different aspects of fixing things and waterskiing, they were a very special part of his life. He was also a member of the Oxford American Legion Post #58. Calling Hours for Mush will be Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 2PM to 4PM at the Robert J. Webster Soter “Sam” Angelo, son of the late Evangelos and Helen (Binolas) Angelo, passed away peacefully in his home, Saturday, March 8, 2014. He is survived by his brother, Stephen Angelo and his wife Ethel; 2 sisters; Evelyn Belanger and Liberty Brassard; all of Webster. He also leaves several nephews and nieces; grand and great grand nephew and nieces. Soter was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the U. S. Air Force. He was also an active member of the D.A.V. and a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. He will be missed most of all by everyone that knew him as “That Guy Sam with the Cigar at Nipmuc Liquors”. Soter was predeceased by his father, mother; sister Julia; sister-in-law Theresa; brother-in-law Paul; and great nephew Sean. She was raised in Haverford, PA, and then lived in Windsor, CT, Dudley, Webster and Oxford before moving back to Webster. She graduated from Haverford High School in 1960. She was a homemaker. Szacik; her father, Bernard M. Albetski of Webster, 2 sisters; Elaine M. Martin wife of George D. Martin of Dudley, and Bernice Hicks wife of Jim Hicks of Erie, CO., a brother; Noman Albetski of Wrentham, and 2 nieces and a nephew and her dog “Boots”. She was predeceased by her mother Mary (Murolo) Albetski who died in 2001. Janet was a graduate of Oxford High School in 1964 and worked as a phlebotomist for Harrington Memorial Hospital for several years. She also worked with her husband as a bookkeeper at Pro-Tech Locksmith and Alarm Service. She and Bob enjoyed going out to eat every Sunday to different places. A Memorial Service for Janet will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1 PM in the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Gawle; 4 children, Karen A. Moseley and her husband William of Woodstock, CT, James P. Gawle and his wife Georgia of Webster, David N. Gawle of West Springfield, and Suzanne A. Hagstrom and her husband Brian of Woodstock, CT; 14 grandchildren, Jeremy, Ann, Sara, Marc, Ryan, Eric, Jennifer, Amanda, Jonathan, Jesse, Myra, Joshua, Hannah and Jeremiah; 6 great-grandchildren, Everest, Parker, Mitchell, Jillian, Keagan and Aaron; a brother, G. Ronald Finnegan and his wife Mary of Holmdel, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Brenda Gawle and by her sister Margaret Gaudette. She was born in Webster, the daughter of George and Gertrude (O’Hara) Finnegan and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1946 and then completed studies at the Worcester School of Business Science. Mrs. Gawle was first a secretary at Harvey Wells Company in Southbridge and then at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster. She then was, along with her husband, co-owner of Point Breeze for 40 years, retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley and previously was a member of Saint Louis Church in Webster. She belonged to the Emblem Club. She also volunteered at Food Share in Webster for many years. Her interests were many: she enjoyed reading, excelled as a seamstress and embroider and played a winning game of pinochle. She had an ease with words: she completed crossword puzzles and spent much time playing boggle and scrabble. Her family was her treasure. The funeral will be held Saturday, March 22, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 8:15 to 9:15 AM on Saturday, March 22, in the funeral home. WEBSTER – Charles J. “Charlie” Baron, 93, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after a period of declining health. The funeral will be held Saturday, April 12, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will perform the military honors at the cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, April 11, in the funeral home.

Dudley Sophie L. (Augustyn) Rogala, 88, of Oxford Ave., passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. She was the wife of Frank J. Rogala who died in 1977. Sophie leaves her daughter; Patricia “Patty” A. Rogala of Dudley and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Oxford a daughter of the late Peter and Louise (Stapor) Augustyn and lived in the Webster-Dudley area all her life. Sophie worked at the former Webster Spring Co. In Oxford for almost 40 years and retired from there 25 years ago. She was predeceased by 3 brothers; Stanley, John and Joseph Augustyn and 4 sisters; Mary Custer, Anna Szeredy, Josephine Szczurko and Victoria Augustyn. Sophie was a communicant of St. Joseph Basilica, the Sacred Heart and Holy Rosary sodalities, enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to dance and singing, especially to Polish music. Sophie’s family would like to “Thank” the staff at Lanessa Extended Care for their kindness and caring for Sophie. The Funeral for Sophie will be Friday, April 11, 2014 with a Mass at 11:15 AM at St. Joseph’s Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St.,Webster, burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery. WEBSTER – Josephine R. (Kwiatkowski) Kozlowski, 88, died Monday, April 14, 2014 in Saint Vincent Hospital with her family at her side. Her husband of 37 years, Felix J. Kozlowski, died in 1991. She leaves a daughter, Felicia R. Kolodziejczak and her husband James of Webster; a son, Anthony P. Kozlowski with whom she lived; 2 grandchildren, Marie Adams and her husband Craig, and Nicole Eldred and her husband Laurence; 2 great-grandsons, Hunter and Chase; a brother, Joseph Kwiatkowski and his wife Jeanne of Dudley; 2 sisters, Victoria Dalterio and Angela Kwiatkowski, both of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was looking forward to the birth of her third great-grandchild in June. She was born in Oxford, a daughter of Peter and Edna (Czarniecki) Kwiatkowski, and lived in Dudley and Webster all her life. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1944. Mrs. Kozlowski was a stitcher at Bates Shoe Company for many years before she retired in 1988. She was a lifelong member of Saint Joseph Basilica, and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and the Saint Joseph Polish Women’s Club. She enjoyed traveling and reading. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 26, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. The family will receive relatives and friends from 8:15 to 10:15 Saturday morning in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph School Immediate Needs Fund, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster. MA 01570.

WEBSTER – Catherine B. (Kwasny) Zukowski, 95, formerly of Pinewood Drive, died Friday, April 18, 2014 in Lanessa Extended Care after a period of declining health. Her husband of 33 years, Anthony J. Zukowski, died in 1975. She leaves a son, Anthony J. Zukowski and his wife Nancy of Whitesboro, NY; a daughter, Susan A. Zukowski of Maynard, MA; nieces and nephews. She was born in Webster, the daughter of Joseph M. and Sally (Kijek) Kwasny and lived here most of her life. She worked at various factory jobs in the area until she retired. She was a member of St. Joseph Basilica. She enjoyed candlepin bowling. The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 22, at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
