Webster Esther M. (Fuchs) Elliott, 95, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Lanessa Extended Care surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 54 years, Ellsworth R. Elliot died in 1999. She leaves behind a daughter, Lois J. Bernier and her husband David J. Bernier, Jr. and a son, Glenn P. Elliott, all of Webster, a grandson, David J. Bernier, III and his wife Amy of Rollingford, N.H. and 2 great grandchildren, Lily and Samuel. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jason C. Bernier who died in 2005. Esther was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Herman O. and Cora A. (Francke) Fuchs and lived here all her life. She worked as a library clerk at the old Bartlett High School and set up the library at Bartlett, she then worked many years at the Pearle Crawford Memorial Library in Dudley. Esther was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and served in several church organizations, loved reading, enjoyed a good book, liked cooking, and doing needlework, travelling was another favorite, she had gone to Las Vegas, Bermuda, the Bahamas, California, Arizona, visited the Grand Canyon were some of her favorites. She also enjoyed going to Wright’s Chicken Farm with family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed doing things for her family. Esther was a Very Organized Person, and everyone that knew her admired her skills at organizing. Funeral Services for Esther will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 with a Service at 10 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., Oxford, burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster. WEBSTER – Frances P. (Knych) Petrin, 101, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her husband of 57 years, Robert L. Petrin, died in 1991. She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth A. “Betty” Meagher and her husband Donald of Webster; 3 granddaughters, Donna, wife of Robert Gryncewicz of Dudley, Angela, wife of Arthur Siegmund of North Grosvenordale, CT, and Laurie Meagher and her fiancé Michael Leckor of Hampton, NH; 5 great-grandchildren, Patricia Gryncewicz of Webster, Robby Gryncewicz and his wife Alexandra of Oxford, Colin Siegmund of North Grosvenordale, CT, Jacob Donahue of Thompson, CT and Anna Donohue of Webster; a brother, Joseph Knych and a sister, Gladys Przystas, both of Webster; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Peter and Albert Knych, and by 4 sisters, Anna Knych, Mary Marcustry, Sophie Saucier and Viola Gawle. She was born in Webster on October 25, 1913, a daughter of Stephan and Catherine (Sikora) Knych and was a lifelong resident. She attended Bartlett High School. Mrs. Petrin was a stitcher at local shoe shops including Sandlerette before retiring in 1962. She was a lifelong member of Saint Joseph Basilica and a member of its Saint Anne Society and the Saint Joseph Polish Women’s Club. The funeral will be held Thursday, May 21, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Webster Conrad Hugo Redlitz, 90, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Lutheran Home in Worcester. His wife of 58 years, Betty A. (Stamp) Redlitz died in February 12, 2007. Mr. Redlitz leaves 7 children, Mark C. Redlitz of Round Rock, TX., John H. Redlitz of Orange Park, FL., Kurt M. Redlitz of Norfolk, MA., Faith E. Surprenant of Fullerton, CA., Gail N. Endorf of Lake Ariel, PA., Deborah J. Donaldson of Springfield, N.J., and Leah M. McGaughey of Holbrook, MA., 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister, Elmira Surozenski of Largo, FL. He was predeceased by another sister, Gretchen Hoenig. Conrad was born in Webster April 13, 1925, son of the late Hugo and Minnie (Schur) Redlitz and lived here all his life. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, as a Motor Machinist Mate 1st Class, and saw action in both the European and Pacific theaters. Mr. Redlitz was a Master plumber for many years, he worked as a union plumber, and was a foreman for Anderson Plumbing and also was self employed, he later worked for 15 years as a plumbing teacher at Bay Path Regional Vocational High School in Charlton before retiring. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was very active with different committees at the church, he was a stamp collector, enjoyed boating and fishing, but most important to him was that he Loved his Family and grandchildren and great grandchild. Conrad’s Funeral will be Friday, May 22, 2015 with a Service at 10AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., Oxford, burial with Military Honors provided by the Webster-Dudley Veterans’ Council will follow at Mt. Worcester – Mildred (Smith) Czesnowski, 71, passed away May 16, 2015 after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents William Smith and Rhoda (Gervais) Smith, and brother Michael Smith. She leaves five siblings, William, Erica, Marlene, Alice, and Richard, her seven children, Earl, Lindsay, Kimberly, Mildred, and William Derusha, Joseph and Robert Czesnowski. She leaves her loving grandchildren, Dawn Derusha, Jonathan and Stephanie Fox, Aaron Cluett, and Julia Czesnowski, as well as many other relatives and friends. She lived in Worcester most of her life and was a dedicated Elvis fan. She was an avid animal lover and her bright smile will never be forgotten. WEBSTER – Patrick P. Carolan, 73, died Friday, May 15, 2015 at home after a brief illness. His wife of 34 years, Eileen M. (Doyle) Carolan died in 2011. He leaves his son, Padraig J. and his wife Carolyn A. Carolan of Watertown; a brother, Charles and his wife Mary Carolan of Glasnevin, County Dublin, Ireland; three sisters, Sheila and her husband Tony Reilly of Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland, May Carolan of Castletown Kilpatrick, County Meath, Ireland and Cathy Carolan of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Carolan was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first granddaughter. He was born in Leggagh, Castletown Kilpatrick, Navan, County Meath, Ireland, a son of Charles and Isabella (Phillips) Carolan. He immigrated to America from Ireland with his family in 1989. He was a member of Saint Louis Church. WEBSTER – Kathryn H. “Kay” (Ulmer) Metro, 97, died Friday, May 15, 2015 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her husband, Pero “Peter” Metro, died in 1985. She leaves 5 children, Dennis E. Metro of Shrewsbury, Peter C. Metro and his wife Jeanne of Venice, FL, Cheryl L. Leduc and her husband William of Farmington, NH, Mona J. Gagnon and her husband Russell of Sutton and Deborah P. Rousseau and her husband Gerald of Webster; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Ulmer of California; 2 sisters, Virginia Hayward and Louise Toli, both of New Hampshire; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Douglas, Donald and Neal Ulmer. She was born and raised in Rockland, Maine, the oldest child of Alden and Geneva (Benner) Ulmer. She attended Rockland High School. She later lived in New Hampshire and Bangor, Maine before moving to Webster in 1967. Mrs. Metro was a manager at Peerless Company in the Auburn Mall for several years before reitiring in 1979. She enjoyed bingo and reading. She was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Webster Dr. Romany Hakeem Girgis, 82, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Holy Trinity Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Dr. Faiza D. Kattan, and a son, Samuel Romany Girgis of Wayland and 2 grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dr. Girgis was born in Komombo, Egypt a son of the late Hakeem Girgis and Batool Bishara and was predeceased by a brother and 6 sisters. He and his wife came to the United States in 1977 and opened their practice in Dudley for 21 years. Dr. Girgis then was a consultant for 8 years for the Commonwealth of Mass. for the disabled. He received his Medical Degree in Egypt and was a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgery in England, a member of the Mass. Medical Society and the Worcester District Medical Society. Webster Katherine D. (Solodyna) Beresik, 71, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at U.Mass/Memorial Hospital in Worcester. She leaves behind her husband of nearly 50 years, Joseph S. Beresik, 2 daughters, Karen S. wife of Alan L. Harois and Sharon L. wife of Joseph S. Roland , 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Harnois, Noah, Jonah and Levi Roland all of Webster, a brother, Walter Solodyna and his wife Jean of Holden and her mother-in-law, Irene Beresik of Dudley. Mr. and Mrs. Beresik would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 19th. Katherine was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Walter ‘Sarge’ and Antoinette (Piasta) Solodyna and lived here all her life. She was a 1961 graduate of Bartlett High School. Katherine worked at the former Iandoli’s Market in Webster and later at the Park n’ Shop Supermarket in Dudley before retiring, she was also a crossing guard for the Webster School Department. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox, the Patriots and wrestling, and Dancing with the Stars, playing Word Search, was a collector of Pandora bracelets and charms, but most of all she enjoyed going to Disney World since 1985 with her family and enjoyed collecting Disney memorabilia. A Memorial Funeral Mass for Katherine will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley, burial will follow at St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery in Webster. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family Saturday from 8:30AM until the time of the Mass (At the Church). WEBSTER – James F. Patterson, III, 65, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 surrounded by his family at UMass/Memorial University Campus. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Sally (Starzec) Patterson; three sons, James F. Patterson IV and his wife Rebecca, Raymond Patterson and his wife Lori, and Joseph Patterson and his wife Jamie; five grandchildren, Alycia, James V, Josh, Bryce and Jocelyn Patterson; a sister, Jane Frink and her partner Bob Caplette; four nieces and a greatnephew; and Michael Gagnon, who was like a son to him. He also leaves his beloved dogs, Molly, Riley, Brady, Mickey and Flash. He was born in Worcester, the son of James F. Patterson II and Rose (Tryba) Patterson and was a lifelong resident of Webster. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1969. Mr. Patterson founded Jim Patterson and Sons Excavating Company and was still operating his business after 44 years. He was a former member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church in his youth, where he served as an altar boy. He enjoyed repairing machines and was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 10 in Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, 68 Lake Street. WEBSTER – Roland H. “Cincy” St. Hilaire, 84, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after being stricken ill. His wife of 51 years, Doris P. (Gauthier) St. Hilaire, died in 2008. He leaves a son, Charles E. Cusson and his wife Jeanne of Auburn, PA; a daughter, Brenda R. Milestone of Worcester; a brother, Morris St. Hilaire of Grosvenordale, CT; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Edmund and Francis Cusson, and by 2 brothers, Dennis and Arthur St. Hilaire. He was born in Northampton and raised in Webster, the youngest of the 4 sons of Arthur and Laura (Beauchesne) St. Hilaire. He graduated from a high school in Canada. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. St. Hilaire was a machine operator at Cranston Print Works Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1982. He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was a member of the Booster Athletic Club for over 50 years, and an active member of the Webster Senior Center. He enjoyed golfing and card playing. The funeral will be held Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will perform the military honors at the cemetery. WEBSTER – Wanda Katherine (Kosciak) Baron, 95, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester. Her husband of almost 70 years, Charles J. Baron, died in 2014. She leaves a son, Charles E. Baron; a daughter, Geraldine A. “Deanie” Sherry and her husband David, all of Webster; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie S. Dollar and her husband Chris of Atlanta, GA, Stacey S. Ardini and her husband Drew of Newton, Michael D. Sherry and his wife Audry of Douglas, and Kevin D. Sherry and his wife Sara Jane of Aldie, VA; 9 great-grandchildren, Baron Hayden Sherry, Caroline Theresa Sherry, Maggie Sophia Ardini, Emma Caroline Sherry, Allison Jane Ardini, Grayson Wade Dollar, Hannah Katherine Sherry, Charlotte Katherine Dollar and Jack Charles Ardini; a sister, Celia Polucha of Whitinsville; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Louis and Edward Kosciak and by a sister Jennie Kozak. She was born in Worcester and raised in Uxbridge, a daughter of Stanislaw and Anna (Pilch) Kosciak. She moved to Webster in the late 1950’s. She graduated from Uxbridge High School in 1937 and the Ollis Academy in Worcester as a cosmetologist. She married Charles J. Baron on May 6, 1944 in Saint Mary’s Church in Uxbridge. Mrs. Baron was a hairdresser for over 50 years. She worked at Gen’s Beauty Salon on School St., at Joan’s on Clark St. and at the Beauterama on East Main St., retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica. She was a former member of the Webster-Dudley Golf Course. She enjoyed crocheting and was fond of politics. The funeral will be held Monday, June 8, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 7, in the funeral home. Nicholas “Nick” Mochnacz 6/11/2015 Webster, MA

WEBSTER – Nicholas “Nick” Mochnacz, 91, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Webster Manor after a long illness. He leaves his companion and caregiver, Lorraine Sharples of Webster; a sister, Walentyna Slodobchicova of Moldova, Poland; a godson, Dr. Jon Wojcik of Great Barrington; and 2 nephews. He was born and raised in Woldzyn, Poland, son of Alexander and Katarzyna (Tawgien) Mochnacz. He moved to England in 1948 and immigrated to Worcester in 1952. After living in Leicester for 27 years, he moved to Webster in 1997. He was a lance corporal in the Polish Army, serving in the Middle East and then in the campaign in Italy from April, 1944 to February, 1945, where he fought at Monte Cassino. He was awarded the Cross of Monte Cassino and the Cross for Valor. After the war, he helped in the occupation years, working for both the British and American Armies. Mr. Mochnacz was a farmer in Poland. He worked as a meat cutter for Western Pork Packers in Worcester for 16 years, and then as a grinder at L. Hardy Company, also in Worcester, for 15 years. He retired in 1986. He was a loyal member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church. He was an active member of the Polish American Veterans in Webster and participated in the honor guard for the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council: he always carried the American flag at their ceremonies. He also belonged to the PAV Post 52 in Worcester. He was a member the AFL–CIO Meat Cutters Union during his working years. The family would like to thank the staff on Unit One at Webster Manor for their concern and care for Nick during his stay there. A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, June 27 in Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Boston Road, Dudley, with the Rev. Robert Frederickson officiating. WEBSTER – Rosario Lechiara, 74, a professional bowler, died Sunday, June 14, 2015 in The Meadows of Central Massachusetts with family at his side after a long illness. He leaves a son, Paul M. Lechiara of Webster; a daughter, Linda R. Lechiara of Stoneham; a granddaughter, Kaelyn Lechiara; his former wife, Carol (Loughlin) Lechiara of Webster; a brother, Vincent LeChiara of Saugus; 4 sisters, Anna Parise of Italy, Sandra Gallello of Newton, Maria Musto of Westwood and Theresa Hutton of Weston; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister Felicia. He was born and raised in Petilia Policastro, Italy, one of the seven children of Frank and Teresa (Bruno) Lechiara. He immigrated to the United States in 1960 and lived in Newton and Webster. Mr. Lechiara was a brick layer for the Brick Layers and Allied Craftsmen Local #3 in Boston for several years before he retired. A professional candlepin bowler, he was known as “Rosie” and appeared on more than 50 candlepin bowling television broadcasts on Channel 5 with the late Don Gillis. He scored a 216 high single, a 468 high triple and a 765 high 5. His bowling average was 130. He was inducted into the International Bowling Hall of Fame in 2011. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday, June 20, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a service at 3:00 PM. The Rev. Mr. Peter Motyka officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Webster Ronald M. Mayes, 66, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in his home. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Janice R. (Faber) Mayes, one daughter, Jennifer L. wife of Robert W. Morton of Thompson, CT., 2 sisters, Judy Gevry and her husband Harold of Webster and Alice Leroux of Worcester, 2 grandchildren, Dakoda Coady and Kaitlyn M. Morton and a great grand-daughter, Lillian Rose Morton , a brother-in-law, Edward Faber and his wife Kathleen of Salem, N.H., and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Peterson of Irvine, CA., and nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by a son, Christopher J. ‘Chris’ Mayes who died April 20, 2012. He was born in Webster the son of the late Maxwell and Gladys (Gulczynski) Mayes and lived here all his life. He owned and operated the Liberty Club for 30 years. Ron was a member of St. Louis Church, and was a former professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets. He loved hunting, fishing, and trapping, and was a proud member of the NRA and Safari Club International and the 200 Sportsman’s Club. But most of all he loved his family very much. Funeral Service for Ron will be Friday, June 19, 2015 with a Mass at 10AM at St. Louis Church, 16 Lake St. Calling Hours will be Thursday, June 198, 2015 from 5PM to 7PM at the ROBERT J. Webster Josephine E. (Lebudzinski) Mason, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 16, at Webster Manor. Her husband was the late Nobel L. Mason who died in May of 2000. She leaves her children; Gary N. Mason of Charlton, Dawn C. Mason of South Carolina, Nancy J. Mason-DuPont and her husband William N. DuPont of Dudley, and Mark G. Mason and his wife Lisa of Webster, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Gladys Markiewicz of Webster and Celia Lebudzinski of Charlton and many nieces and nephews. Josephine was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn M. Przystas, a brother, Edwin Lebudzinski and 3 sisters, Theresa Lebudzinski, Anne Lincoln, and Stasia Toutant. She was born in Webster a daughter of the late Alexander and Phyllis (Bierdzio) Lebudzinski and lived here all her life. Mrs. Mason worked as a book keeper for the former American Optical Co., Iandoli Supermarket and Park n ’Shop Supermarket. She was a member of St. Louis Church, enjoyed sports, especially the Patriots, Red Sox, and the Bartlett High School Indians, Bingo at Sacred Heart, and playing cards. There are No Calling Hours. Webster- Sheila I. (Lovejoy) March, 72, passed away at home on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Sheila leaves her three sons: Michael Lovejoy of Taunton, Walter March and his wife Nancy of Randolph, and Denny L. March and his wife Tabitha of Webster, her daughter Danielle March and her partner Ron of Webster, 9 grand children, 1 great grandson, her mother Irene (York) Lovejoy of Worcester, and her two sisters: Rita Martel of Ayer and Vicky Barry of Uxbridge. Sheila was predeceased by her father Forrest Lovejoy. Sheila devoted 14 years of her life working as a psychiatric professional at the Bournewood Hospital in Brookline. Sheila was also a wonderful mother and grandmother; nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than when her family was with her. She enjoyed spending her time reading , fishing and the casinos. WEBSTER – Jordan, Kenneth M., 57, of Webster, MA passed away unexpectedly at home on June 5, 2105. He was predeceased by his parents Earl K. Jordan Jr. and Elizabeth A. (Figuerido) Jordan and his wife Dorothy L. (Richards) Jordan. He is survived by his daughter Kristin Leah Jordan of Worcester, MA. He was also survived by his siblings Robert Jordan of South Carolina, William Jordan of Millville, MA., Nancy Santos of Tiverton, RI., Jeffrey Jordan of Framingham, MA., Michael Jordan of Millville, MA., John Jordan of Maine, Bruce Jordan of Florida, Lisa Moone of Millville, MA., Timothy Jordan of Millville, MA., Katherine Ouellette of Millville, MA., and Thomas Jordan of Connecticut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Kenny graduated from Blackstone Millville Regional High School, Class of 1977. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was assigned to the USS Charles F. Adams DDG-2 Guided Missile destroyer. While on assignment his ship circumvented the globe. After 4 years of service he was honorably discharged. He worked at General Motors in Framingham, MA as a welder in the Fisher Body department. He also worked at the former Duffy’s Taverner as a bartender and a cook. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA., on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 10:45 am. Services will be graveside with military honors. All are welcome to attend. Webster Raymond A. ‘Weasel’ Falke, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge. He leaves 4 brothers; William of Danielson, CT., David of Dudley, Richard of Webster and James of Virginia, and a sister, Heather Falke of Wilsonville, CT, several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his longtime companion, Janet Renaud. He was born in Webster, son of the late Raymond A. and Bernadette (LaPlante) Falke, Sr. and lived here all his life. Ray was also predeceased by a brother, Allen E. Falke who died in 1998. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1961 as a jet mechanic. Ray was also a heavy equipment operator for many years and later worked in maintenance at the former Oakwood Nursing home. There are No Calling Hours,. Funeral Services will be Private. The Robert J.
