Robert J. “Bob” Skowron, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center- University Campus. Bob leaves his long time companion Cherrie M. Courtemanche of Webster, two brothers- Richard P. Skowron of AZ and Michael J. Skowron of FL, a sister Donna M. Chamberland of Webster, 2 nephews and one niece. Robert was born in Webster a son of the late Joseph S. and Pearl J. (Gadbois) Skowron. Bob graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational High School. He was a carpenter for many years being known best for his work in finish carpentry and building homes. Bob loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and his Truck. He was also a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Calling Hours for Bob will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 9-11am in the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME & LAKE CHAPEL 366 School Street Webster. Dudley Evelyn T. (Durand) Rogers, 85, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Her husband of 25 years, Eugene A. Rogers died in 1977. She leaves a son, Glenn D. Rogers and his wife Sheila of FLA., 3 daughters; Jackie R. Marcotte of Dudley, Charlene L. wife of Joseph S. Antkowiak of Webster, and Geraldine G. Rogers and her companion Chris Mina of Webster, a sister, Doris Boutin of Thompson, CT., 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by a grandson, Joseph S. Antkowiak, Jr. who died in 1980, and 5 brothers; Alfred, Conrad, Lionel, Roland and Robert Durand. She was born September 26, 1929 in the North Grosvenordale section of Thompson the daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Mandeville) Durand. Evelyn worked at the former Stevens Linen Associates Co. in Dudley before retiring. She was known for her painting and knitting skills and was also very well known at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster as the Welcoming Committee. Most of all, she will be remembered as a very caring and loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. As per her request, there are No calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 18 Main St., North Grosvenordale, burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The ROBERT J. WEBSTER – Joseph J. Knych, 98, of Christopher Heights, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Lanessa Extended Care after a period of declining health. His wife of 66 years, Alice B. (Mitchell) Knych, died in 2006. He leaves a son, Joseph A. Knych and his wife Carolyn of Albany, NY; 2 granddaughters, Laurie A. Knych and her companion Paul Martino of Schenectady, NY and Lisa M. Hogan and her husband Paul of Cohoes, NY; a great-grandson, Ryan Hogan; a sister, Gladys Przystas of Webster; nephews and nieces. He was born and raised in Webster, one of the 9 children of Stephen and Catherine (Sikora) Knych. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Elementary School and attended Bartlett High School. He lived in Northbridge and Falmouth before moving back to Webster. He and his wife spent the winter months in Pompano as well as Lake Worth, FL for about 10 years. Mr. Knych first worked as a loom fixer at the Paul Whitin Manufacturing Company in Whitinsville for 7 years. He and his wife owned and operated the Klondike Inn in South Grafton from 1946 to 1972. He then worked as the head night custodian at Falmouth High School for 10 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. He served as the treasurer of the Grafton Democratic Town Committee for several years. As a warden of Precinct 3, he attended the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy. He also belonged to the Grafton Citizens Advisory Committee. He was a life member of the Falmouth Lodge of Elks #2380. He enjoyed playing and watching golf and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. The family would like to thank the staff at Christopher Heights for their care and concern for Joe during the 12 years he lived there. The funeral will be held Friday, August 21, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 20, in the funeral home. WEBSTER – Leo F. Beaulac, 88, formerly of Webster, died Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Brookdale Assisted Living, Dublin, PA with his family at his side. His wife of 56 years, Kathleen L. (Meagher) Beaulac, died in 2004. He leaves his daughter, Lou Ellen Fillinich and her husband Paul of Upper Gwynedd, PA; a granddaughter, Amy Herm and her husband Gregory of East Norriton, PA; 3 great-grandchildren, Kylie, Lucas and Samantha; a sister, Florence Pieper of Shelton, CT; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother Henry Beaulac. He was born in Thompson, CT and raised in North Grosvenordale, son of the late Philip and Helen (Duszlak) Beaulac. He moved to Webster in 1948 at the time of his marriage and then to Pennsylvania in 2011. He graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in North Grosvenordale in 1945. He was elected president of the student council for 2 years and was also awarded the Bausch & Lomb Science Award at his graduation. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Beaulac first worked at the Cluett-Peabody Mill in North Grosvenordale. He was then a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service in Webster for 31 years before he retired. He was a member of Saint Louis Church. He enjoyed golfing, playing baseball and making people laugh. The funeral will be held Thursday, August 27, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will provide the military honors at the cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. East Thompson, CT Sylvia Louise (Swallow) Cody, 82, of Sand Dam Road, a retired pastor and founder of the “House of Prayer” passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. She leaves her devoted husband of 63 years, John Thomas Cody, Sr. and three children, Walter J. Cody of Webster, Catherine J. Stefanides and her significant other David Johnson of Webster, and John T. Cody Jr. and his wife Anita of Woodstock Valley, CT. She also leaves 4 grandchildren: Philip Stefanides and his wife Tara, Heath Cody and his wife Adriane, and Nicholas and Elizabeth Cody. She also leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren Bella Cody and Lia Louise Stefanides, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sylvia is predeceased by 3 sisters, Priscilla, Charlotte and Edna, and her brother Fred. Beyond Sylvia’s 40 years of dedicated work as a Pastor, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, loved animals, vacationing at Booth Bay Harbor and Wallum Lake. WEBSTER-Michael W. Towle, 68, of Webster, a former longtime resident of Manchaug, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at home. He leaves a son, Shawn Towle of Manchaug; a daughter, Kelly Ann Magness of Southbridge and two grandchildren, Kristen Robillard and Garrette Magness. He also leaves his former wife Michelle F. (Goodrich) Towle of Leicester; three brothers, Frank O Towle of Webster, Mark S. Towle and his wife Dorothy of E. Douglas and Alan J. Towle and his partner Cindy of Athol; a sister, Kathleen A. Polselli and her husband Robert of Coral Gables, FL; many cousins, nephews and nieces. He was born in Great Bend, Kansas, son of Nelson A. and Alice M. (Urban) Towle. Michael graduated from Sutton High School and was an accomplished baseball pitcher. He was very proud that he had the opportunity to tryout for the Red Sox. Michael worked for Cintas Fire Protection and Fire Supression Systems for many years. He also drove trucks for Valley Transportation. He was an avid outdoorsman and Boston sports fan and once served on the volunteer Manchaug fire department. He was a member of the Singletary Rod and Gun Club, Black Patch Muzzle Loaders and participated in primitive rendezvous. He was a former member of the Manchaug Boy Scouts Troop 10 and the Order of the Arrow. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

WEBSTER – Rita L. (Parenteau) Bogatkowski, 82, died Friday, September 18, 2015 in Webster Manor after a short illness. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Edward M. Bogatkowski; 2 daughters, Jane E. Eldridge of Laconia, NH and Lisa J. Faucher and her husband Raymond of North Grosvenordale, CT; 5 grandchildren, Laura, Matthew and Carrie Eldridge, Erin Kennedy and her husband Michael, and Ian-Raymond Faucher; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyson Riley, Tanner Marie, Ariana Jane and Charlie Grace; a brother, George A. “Flicka” Parenteau of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Raymond Edward Faucher, by 3 sisters, Doris Cervine, Lorraine Parenteau and Claire Savage, and by 2 brothers, Emile and Paul Parenteau. She was born in Webster, a daughter of Maurice and Florence (Pion) Parenteau and lived here all her life. She completed the commercial course at Saint Anne’s School. Mrs. Bogatkowski was a homemaker. She also worked at W. T. Grant Company and at Park ‘N’ Shop. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. The funeral was held privately. WEBSTER – Doris M. (Sager) Booth, 75, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in her home. She leaves a son, John L. Booth, Jr. and his companion Dolores Davis of Salem, NH; a daughter, Debra Mulcahy and her husband Kevin of Sutton; 3 grandsons, Michael J. Booth, Shane Mulcahy and Alec Mulcahy; a sister, Ruth L. Kirk and her husband Richard of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was born in Webster, the youngest child of Stewart and Laura B. (Arsenault) Sager and lived in Oxford for many years before returning to Webster in 1990. She attended Oxford High School. Doris was a quality control inspector at Sprague Electric, later Allegro Company in Shrewsbury for 35 years before retiring in 2003. WEBSTER – Shirley M. (LePine) Dowgiewicz, 89, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 63 years, Edward W. Dowgiewicz, died in 2012. She leaves two sons, Richard E. Dowgiewicz and his wife Diane of Bennington, VT and Webster Selectman Mark G. Dowgiewicz and his companion Nancie Zecco of Webster; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Maria, Jeffrey and Ashley Dowgiewicz; a great-grandson, Rhory Dowgiewicz; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward W. Dowgiewicz II in 1988. She was born and raised in Putnam, CT, a daughter of Clovis “Jack” LePine and Anna E. (Duffy) LePine. She lived in Webster most of her life. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Putnam. Mrs. Dowgiewicz was an office clerk at Sandlerette Shoe and then at the Department of Employment Security in Webster for several years. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica and a member of its Saint Anne Society and the St. Joseph Polish Women’s Club. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, visits to Foxwoods and spending quality time with her grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday, October 19, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Elizabeth was born in Webster on January 5, 1956, the daughter of the late Bernard C. and Lena C. (McAvoy) Puls and lived most of her life in Webster. She leaves her husband of 36 years, Harry A. ‘Tony’ Leo, Jr., her daughter, Nicole E. Leo, her son, Harry A. Leo, III, and her granddaughter, Jayda N. Spencer, all of Webster. She also leaves her brother, Paul Puls of Springfield, her sister, Mary Meredith of North Brookfield, and sister-in-law, Patricia Becks of Florida. Lily was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Cathy Nadeau, Jane Puls, and Carole Carlson. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lily worked as a secretary for over 30 years at Leo Construction Co. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and will be remembered as a caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Lily held a special place in her heart for her only granddaughter, Jayda. She had a passion for cooking and baking. WEBSTER – Carol A. Paine, 76, died suddenly Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in her home. She leaves a son, Leeland J. Jacques, Jr. of Jefferson; a daughter, Kerrysue B. Jacques of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Elisha-Ann Jacques, Zachary Jacques and Christopher Jacques; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kaydin and Lidiya. She was preceded in death by her former husband Leeland J. Jacques, Sr. of Jefferson last December, by her brother Stanley Paine and by her sister Beverly Paine. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Ervin R. and Caroline M. (Holder) Paine. She lived in Worcester for many years and then in Spencer for 15 years, moving here in 2013. Carol was first a mental health assistant at Worcester State Hospital. She then sewed high-end clothing for Cottage Tailor in Worcester. She inspected circuit boards at Sprague Electric, also in Worcester. She retired as an inspector at Hebert’s Candy Mansion in 2004. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Worcester when she lived there. She excelled at sewing and crocheting and enjoyed going to the beach and traveling. She was an avid bingo player. WEBSTER – Dhimitraq “Taqo” Xega, 60, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester after an illness. He leaves his wife of 33 years, Lefteri (Puriqi) Xega; 2 daughters, Eleni and her husband John Sgouritsas of Dudley and Kristina Xega and her companion Eric Dinarello of Boston; a brother, Nikolla Xega of Albania; 5 sisters, Spira Samara of Webster, Sofia Lena of Greece, Vasilika Zhidro of Worcester, Vangjeli Nita of Greece and Aleksandra Nita of Albania; 2 grandchildren, Giorgios Sgouritsas and Persefoni Zoi Sgouritsas. He was born in Erseke and raised in Korce, Albania, a son of Harito and Elefteri (Bello) Xega. He received his Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine in Albania . Mr. Xega was a professor in a veterinary school in Albania before moving to America. He was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. He enjoyed writing, reading, music was a huge sports fan of all Boston teams and was a soccer enthusiast. His greatest love was the time spent with his family. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 4, at 10:00 A.M. in Sts. Constantine and Helen G.O.C, 35 Lake Parkway. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Webster- Our beloved Mother, grandmother and friend to so many, Marie Carol Cervizzi Hyland passed away on November 11, 2015 at the age of 94 with her daughters at her side. She was the last remaining child of nine born to Maria (Perone) Cervizzi and Bernado Cervizzi (of Naples Italy) who lived in East Boston. Marie was born on May 18, 1921 and was predeceased by her husband Leroy James Hyland of Webster. Marie and Leroy married in 1946, residing in Peabody MA spending every summer on Webster Lake. They eventually retired, moving to the lake embracing the community of Webster. Marie graduated from Fisher College with a degree in business. She was employed as a secretary in the Peabody, MA School system. She was involved in the Killdeer Island Club, running the 130 Club for many years; was a member of the WLA since inception; the Tuesday Women’s’ Club; St Louis Women’s Guild and the Friends of the Corbin Library. She was a treasure to everyone she knew; a kind, caring, loving woman whose infectious smile touched all who knew her. She was a lady of style and grace who always put family first. An excellent cook, she was famous for her sauce and meatballs, which is now on the menu at Red’s in Harwich. Marie leaves three daughters who loved her dearly; Linda Littleton, Patricia Dupre, and Maureen Cimoch and her husband Joe, all of Webster. Marie adored her three granddaughters; Colleen Cimoch/Smith and her husband Cameron Smith of Boston, Brooke Littleton of Boston and Christine Cimoch of Webster. Her life will be celebrated with a Mass at St Louis Church- 16 Lake Street Webster on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10 am. Kindly meet directly at the church. He leaves his wife of 26 years, Susie (DiDomenico) Shilinsky; 2 daughters, Barbara McKeon of Leicester and Lynda Ganem of Worcester; a stepson, Kevin Graham of Thompson, CT; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter Jaelyn; 2 brothers, Paul Shilinsky of Florida and Bobby Shilinsky of Grafton; and a sister, Elaine Casey, also of Grafton. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Shilinsky. He was born and raised in Worcester, a son of Joseph W. Skilinsky, Sr. and Violet (Wood) Shilinsky. He lived in Worcester and then in North Grosvenordale, CT for 11 years before moving to Webster in 2012. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Shilinsky was a mechanic and repairman at Lusignan Brothers Sheet Metal in Worcester. He then worked at Digital Computer in Maynard for several years before retiring. WEBSTER – John A. “Mike” Mikolajczak, 92, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at home after a period of declining health. Whether you knew him as John, Sonny, Al or Mike, we lost a quiet, gentle and witty man who gave of his time, talent and treasure to his family, friends and community. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Rosemarie “Ruth” (Roy) Mikolajczak; 2 sons, Rodney Sohngen and his wife Sandra of St. Petersburg, FL, and Bruce A. Mikolajczak and his wife Susan of Woodstock, CT; a daughter, Lynn M. Pedersen and her husband Chris of Oxford; 7 grandchildren, Jon, Lauren, Paul, Daria, Rodney, Tammy and John; 14 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony Mikolajczak and sister Eleanor Gogolinski. He was born September 23, 1923 in Worcester, son of Anthony and Augusta (Harbort) Mikolajczak, and lived in Webster and Dudley most of his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1941 and later attended Cole Trade High School in Southbridge in 1947. He then earned an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Junior College in 1952. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, serving as a sergeant. He was a member of the PAV and participated in the firing squad division of the annual Memorial Day Parade for many years. In 1947, Mr. Mikolajczak began his career at the American Optical Company in Southbridge and also in Buffalo. He was first a machinist and then superintendent of the machine shop, retiring in 1984. He was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley. He was currently a member of the Dudley Lions Club which he joined in 1973. He served in many capacities, including King Lion as well as chairman of the annual Christmas Basket Committee for several years. He was the first club member to receive the Melvin Jones Award, the highest form of recognition which embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism. He was a former member of the Serra Club of Southern Worcester County. The funeral will be held Friday, December 4, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will provide the military honors. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, December 3, in the funeral home. Largo, FLA./Webster,MA. Elmira Justine (Redlitz) Surozenski died on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the age of 88. She was a resident of The Caribbean Isles, Largo, Florida where she was an avid Bingo, Pokeno, Bridge and Eukre player. She was born in Webster, daughter of Hugo and Minnie (Schur) Redlitz and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1944. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Surozenski in 1982, a daughter, Carol Priest, her brother, Conrad Redlitz of Webster, and a sister, Gretchen Hoenig of Thompson, CT. Residing in Florida she leaves 2 grandsons, Bryan L. Priest and Larry F. Priest, and 2 great grandsons, Matthew and Daniel Priest. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Elmira was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford and an associate member of The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Largo. FLA., she served on many committees at Zion including church council, 11 years as Worship chairperson. Elmira was founder of Zion’s monthly newsletter, “The Century” serving as the first woman editor for 15 years. She was also a Sunday school teacher and superintendent for 26 years, and served as president of 2 Women’s societies. Elmira was a member of the Killdeer Island Club in Webster, and served as secretary for over 30 years, being awarded a lifetime club membership. She was a member of the Royal Travelers and served as a tour guide. She retired in 1989 after 42 years of employment at the Duran Candy Company in North Grosvenordale, CT., which was a branch of Bordon Co. Memorial gifts may be made to the Memorial Fund of Zion Lutheran Church, 70 South Main St., Oxford, MA. 01540. Funeral arrangements are still pending, however there will be a Memorial Service at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Largo, FLA., and also at Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford with burial in Mt. WEBSTER – Ronald A. “Ronnie” Ledoux, 78, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side Friday, December 4, 2015 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge following a long illness. He was born in Webster and raised in Dudley, the son of Joseph Armand Ledoux who died in 1966 and Florence (Allen) George who died in 1977. He moved to Worcester in 1952 and graduated from South High School in 1955. He moved to Webster with his mother in 1959. He leaves a sister, Carolyn D. Gatto and her husband Ernest Gatto, Jr. of Webster. He also leaves many nephews, nieces and cousins. Ronnie first took employment at the H & H Brown Shoe factory in Worcester for several years. Afterward, he entered the restaurant business alongside his mother at The Park Grill in Worcester and then at Emil’s Dairy Bar in Webster. Following his mother’s passing, he continued on as the owner of Emil’s and subsequently Emil’s Food for decades. He touched the hearts of thousands of patrons with his witty personality and unique charm. In his retirement, he stayed active with his love of gardening and spending time with friends and family with whom he continued to share his passion for cooking by preparing gourmet dishes for many years. He was an active member of the Southern Mass. Beagle Club in Douglas for 45 years, where he spent countless hours with his beagles. He loved the outdoors. His selfless acts of kindness were well known and appreciated by everyone that knew Ronnie. The family would like to thank the staff at Harrington Memorial Hospital Cancer Center for their outstanding care and compassion for Ronnie during his illness. WEBSTER – Claire M. (Isabelle) Malley, 83, passed away in her home on Friday, December 4, 2015. Her husband and love of her life of 60 years, Edward J. Malley, died in 2012. She leaves two sons, John E. “Jack” Malley and his wife Deborah of Walpole, and Steven M. Malley of Warwick, RI; two grandchildren whom she adored, Kenneth T. Malley and Elizabeth H. Malley; her sister and friend, Dorothy M. Wesgan of Webster; a brother, Henry R. “Hank” Isabelle of North Uxbridge; a sister-in-law, Mary Malley of South Grafton, three godchildren, Patricia Baker, Ellen Hatfield and Debra Montague; many cherished nieces and nephews; close friends and her parish and chapel families. She was born in North Uxbridge on May 4, 1932, the oldest daughter of the late Henri and Jeanne (Brochu) Isabelle. She attended Good Shepherd Elementary School in Linwood and St. Mary’s High School in Milford. Claire worked in the textile mills of Uxbridge. She was also a certified nursing assistant and a clerk at the Putnam Card & Gift Shop and then at Webster Discount Drug before retiring. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was a co-founder of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel which opened in 1996 and until 2011 was involved, along with her husband, in its daily operation. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and a past member of the Circle of Charity. She volunteered at parish festivals and also helped with the annual Partners in Charity Campaign. At one time, she was a member of the St. Anne School Association and of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Since 1991, she has been a Eucharistic Minister to the sick and homebound. She was the caregiver to her parents in their final years. Being a wife, mother and homemaker were her top priorities. She loved family gatherings. She said that her sons were her greatest gift from God. Her faith meant so much to her. The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 9, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a concelebrated Mass at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. After a luncheon, a graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Uxbridge. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, in the funeral home. WEBSTER – Hedwig “Hattie” (Brezniak) Szczepaniak, 97, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her husband, Louis A. Szczepaniak, died in 1997. She leaves several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Peter, William and Walter Brezniak and by a sister, Bridget Nezuch. She was born in Webster, the youngest of the 5 children of Stephen J. and Elizabeth A. (Kazmierski) Brezniak, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. and Mrs. Szczepaniak owned and operated Central Shoe and Trophy in Southbridge for many years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. She enjoyed bowling in candlepin leagues and was an ardent Boston Red Sox Fan. The funeral will be held Saturday, December 12, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street.
